CACTUS N' CRUDE
USAC BENEFIT
USA Cycling is very pleased to introduce a new member benefit for our members -
Cactus n' Crude MS150 Bike Ride Annual Fundraiser
Cactus n' Crude MS150 Bike Ride Pledge Annual Fundraiser
Members of the West Texas Cycling Association have ridden in the Cactus n' Crude MS150 Bike Ride for several years. Each year the ride takes on a slightly more personal note--one year a friend or co-worker will be diagnosed with MS, another year a brother or a sister will be diagnosed with MS, and sometimes a loved one will die of MS.
That's why we ride.
About the ride:
The Cactus n' Crude is a two day, 150 mile ride that begins in Midland, overnights in Big Spring, and ends in Post. Around 7 a.m. Saturday, July 21st, about a dozen members of the West Texas Cycling Association, along with 200 other riders, will head south out of Midland. About 20 miles on down the road, we'll head east and then back north on into Big Spring where we'll recuperate after the first day's 75 miles. Sunday morning at 7 a.m. we'll head north out of Big Spring and begin the second day's 75 mile trek heading for Post.
Donation Information:
The dozen or so of us who will be participating in the ride would like to raise $7,500--about $600 each. While that seems like quite a bit, it is certainly attainable with your help. Any amount is OK (in past years we've received individual donations from as small as $5 to as much as $300).
Make checks payable to NMSS and mail to:

If you prefer to donate on-line, click here and then click on one of the team member's names and follow the prompts.
ALL donations go to NMSS--riders pay their own transportation, motel, & entry fees.
Thanks for your help.
